Returns & Warranty

At TideCover, we stand behind every cover we sell. All of our canopies are built with marine-grade materials and tested for durability — because we know your boat lift cover needs to hold up season after season.

Warranty Coverage

Depending on the fabric you select, your cover is backed by either a 5-year or 7-year limited warranty against material and workmanship defects, effective from your invoice date.

7-Year Pro-Rated Warranty — Shelter-Rite® 18oz or SLT Shelter-Rite® 13oz fabrics:

  • Years 1–3: 100% covered
  • Year 4: 60% covered
  • Year 5: 40% covered
  • Year 6: 20% covered
  • Year 7: 15% covered

5-Year Pro-Rated Warranty — HarborTime™, WeatherMax™, or SeaMark™ fabrics:

  • Years 1–2: 100% covered
  • Year 3: 60% covered
  • Year 4: 30% covered
  • Year 5: 15% covered

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with a copy of your original invoice. TideCover reserves the right to request inspection photos or physical return of the canopy for review. If a physical inspection is required and the issue is covered under warranty, we will reimburse your return shipping costs.

Not Covered:

  • Improper installation or distorted canopy framework
  • Acts of God (windstorms, hail, floods, lightning)
  • Damage from chemicals, rodents, or petroleum products
  • Vandalism or negligence
  • Natural fading or mismatched fabrics between separate cover pieces

Returns

Unused products may be returned within 30 days of your invoice date. Items must be in their original condition. A Return Merchandise Authorization is required before sending anything back.

Restocking Fees:

  • Unused returns: 15% restocking fee
  • Defective covers must be returned within 30 days of a warranty claim being filed
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless the claim is covered under warranty

  1. Your order number
  2. A description of the issue
  3. Photos of the canopy
